Sacred to the Memory of John Milnes Esq. late of the Stone House near Rugely in Staffordshire: who died in LONDON on the 31st October 1768, aged 72, and hes buried in a vault under this chancel. === His ever grateful and affectionate Kinsman John Ibbetson Eqsr has caused this Monument to be Erected. === Just, generous, good, a virtuous Life he past. Belov'd, esteem'd, respected to the last.
